  Prof. Dr. J.S.A.M. van Koningsbrugge
Prof. Dr. Hans van Koningsbrugge is Director of the Netherlands-Russia Centre of the University of Groningen (www.nrce.nl). Since 1990 he is a professor at the University of Groningen, where he teaches the history of Russia and modern history in general. In 1996, he was appointed as a extraordinary Professor at the State University for Culture of Moscow. Prof. Dr. Van Koningsbrugge has a broad interest in many aspects of the bilateral relationship between the Netherlands and Russia - past and present.
     

  Mr. Jorrit Kamminga
Mr. Jorrit Kamminga is Senior Policy Analyst at the International Council on Security and Development (ICOS, www.icosgroup.net), formerly known as The Senlis Council. Over the past four years, Mr. Kamminga has worked extensively in the Afghan provinces of Helmand, Kabul and Kandahar. Mr. Kamminga has previously worked for the Netherlands' Embassy in Spain, after which he started working for ICOS in the capacity of field researcher, political lobbyist and international spokesperson. He is currently enrolled in the Ph.D programme "La Europa de las Libertades" at the Department of Constitutional Law, Political Science and Administration" at Valencia University, Spain.
 
     

  Mr. Coen van Zwol
Mr. Coen van Zwol studied History at the University of Groningen. Since 1992, he has been working for the Dutch daily NRC Handelsblad (www.nrc.nl) in many different fields. He was editor of the city of Rotterdam, war reporter during the conflict of the Balkans, editor of foreign affairs, political editor in The Hague and NRC's foreign correspondent in Moscow between 2000 and 2007, which explains his strong interest in Russian culture, society and politics. He is currently writing as film critic for the newspaper. In 1999, Mr. Van Zwol won a special reporting prize among all Dutch dailies for his coverage of the war in Kosovo.

 
     

 

Mrs. Anna Sharogradskaya
Mrs. Anna Sharogradskaya is Director of the Regional Press Institute (RPI), formerly known as the Press Development Institute of St. Petersburg. The Institute is a 12 year-old nonprofit organization dedicated to professional standards and skills for regional press organizations and journalists. In the past, Mrs. Sharogradskaya also worked as professor of Journalism at St. Petersburg State University. She has written numerous articles and books on the theory and practice of journalism. In different positions and capacities, she has dedicated many years of her life to the freedom, transparency and quality of the Russian media.
 

     

  Mr. Henk jacobs
Mr. Henk Jacobs started his career as a journalist and editor in chief of several journals. He continued his career as a marketing communications and multimedia consultant and is currently director and owner of a Dutch based communications group that comprises Castel Communications, Castel Mediaproductions and Castel International Publishers. Henk Jacobs produced and published a wide variety of books, websites, films, documentaries and journals and is publisher and co-owner of The European Energy Review, a bi-monthly magazine with focus on the international energy strategy and politics. Henk Jacobs is (a.o.) board member of a Dutch documentary production organisation, a dance company, a theatre company and two charity foundations.
